Shimi was born out of a friendship beginning in primary school. We, Jennie and Rowena have always shared a passion and interest for design, fabrics and clothing.
We are now both busy mums with young children. Not wanting to go back to our old life of banking and insurance, our idea to open an online store providing reasonably priced, gorgeous clothes – Shimi - was born.
We love feminine clothing which have gorgeous detail and unique features of interest to them. Being mums, we also want to wear comfortable clothes that have style to them! Our pieces range from casual items and cute dresses right through to maternity, yoga and leisure wear.
We also have handmade leather goods, jewellery and beautiful aromatherapy skincare, all made in Australia.
Where possible, we are trying to support unique Australian businesses, providing amazing products in which they are passionate and proud of!
