Young Women In Business, Twitter Business Women

As a business woman I run Blue Crane Design with my partner James. We are a graphic design firm based in Brisbane Australia but we service clients all over the world. We specialize in graphic design for small businesses to give the best quality at an affordable place. We would love to help you out with any thing relating to design, advertising, website or fashion.

Feel free to email me at info@bluecranedesign.net for a no obligation personalized quote or to join my mailing list :)

Personally, I love all things girly but I would have no problems kicking your butt at video games. I love Lolita fashion and I am currently exploring the realms of Hime Gyaru fashion. These are Japanese street fashions. If it has pearls, lace and frills I'll probably be all over it. I love to make things, in my spare time I am a comic book artist.

I'd love to meet you so just say hi!

Hi Violet - thanks for the vote of confidence.  I know once I start the ball rolling things will work out.  Thanks for the offer of the advertising, I will definitely keep it in mind.  You and your partner seem to be quite artistic, have you always liked the arts?

It can be tiring and trying working and raising my daughter, with my husband working shift work but hey who's complaining?  There are much worse things in life that could happen - so I think I'm pretty lucky!  Anyway I'm also involved with the kinder committee so there's always plenty to do there.  Oh and of course my daughter's (Amy) very busy social life LOL - where has mine gone LOL.

Have a great weekend,, bye for now, Kim :)

Oops about the name LOL

Business is yet to really get off the ground yet I'm just taking it in baby steps at the moment building my database and sorting out flyers etc.  Your business sounds quite new as well, were you nervous at the start.  I know I am a bit to be honest.  I actually work 2 days a week doing customer care and telemarketing so I know how draining it can be find leads especially in the materials handling industry which is what I'm in.  That's why I decided i've done office admin work all my life and I know I'm good at what I do - so why not do it how I want and live the life I want.  I have a 4 year old daughter, who by the way, her room is very girly - old wordly shabby chic, very pretty.  I want to be able to mix work with enjoying helping at her school next year.  Anyway must press on with looking for POTENTIAL customers!

Happy designing, Kim

Hi Violet (what a gorgeous name).  Thankyou for the request for friends - would love to.  I love all things girly too, lots of pretty flowers and pastels.  Sometimes, though I can get out there and mix it with the boys though - I even have my own drill (courtesy of a birthday present from my husband) and I didn't mind a bit, because he knows I'll give almost anything a go!  Regards Kim

Hello Violet,

Thank you for the invite to become a friend.

It will be so wonderful having opportunity to become acquainted with a beautiful, yet powerful business woman.

It will also be nice to hear
about some of what I am sure your forth-coming successes!

We a little more about me, I am new to the Cafe' business, and after working
30 years for Corporate America; it is a really rubber meet the road type of
labor.

My business is  located in a
Senior Active Adult Community where many still work.

My seniors find the Café a convenient place to eat. Our menu offers sandwiches,
soup, pizza, salads, drinks, hot dogs, sausages, and a variety of fresh baked
goodies. We also serve salty snacks and ice cream.

My nature as the third oldest and 1st girl of twelve children in
total, absolutely loves serving,

Also as a mentor I am passionate about effecting the generation in back of
me by assessing some of their needs and addressing them as I am privilege to
through building of good relationships first with the wonderful and promising
youth.

My young men and women ages 13 and up come in on a volunteer basis in the Café,
It is my desire to pay them as I am able. Right now they survive well with tips
our clients so generously leave.

My goal is to deal with self esteem issues many are experiencing while teaching
them how to become a bridge to a generation that refers to them as Generation
X. They are all being exposed to the business aspect of the Café as well.

I am so thankful that I realize hard work never kills anyone when your heart
is in the right place. Well…..more next time if you desire........thank you for
the opportunity to share.

Your new friend Barb
