Well where do I start! The benefits for me having a successful business would be 1. Prove to myself that I can do it, 2. Having the lifestyle I want to have, 3. Spending more time with my family - as I would be able to outsource certain jobs, 4. Having more time and money to travel, 5. Being more positive would also have a less stress atmosphere. Alison I could go on and on! But will keep it short.

    Thanks

There are many benefits to me from having a successful business, financial security for me and my family, achievement of personal and business goals. But main benefit is the ability to GIVE!
To give to my family and friends ,to give back to those who have supported me in my endeavours. To give to my community.
    Just to GIVE!

    Hi BWU!
After a car accident in Feb 07 I had to change my life completely. Previous to that I been busy as a single mum and self employed contract Workplace Trainer & Assesser. My 7 months in a wheelchair was a huge learning experience in life. I now have a mission to provide an affordable, completely online service for those women who - through incapacity or remote location- are limited in their access to the services most of us take for granted on a daily basis.

The greatest benefit I would receive from a VIP would be to acquire the wealth of expertise available on marketing and running an online business. “In real life” I am a confident operator - online I am a beginner. Thanks for the opportunity to enter, Im becoming more addicted to BWU everyday!
    Cheers, Jeny

I would have more time with my family and not work on the weekends just to keep up to date. There would be less financial stress. As I have many other business ideas it would allow me the flexibility to look at the next journey that I can take. Start that slowly in the spare time that I would have because there would be others in the business to do some of what I am currently doing. That would be a wonderful thing.

I don’t know who wouldn’t benefit from having a successful business. To have the information about how to succeed would be one thing but to implement it would be another.

To be successful at what you do, is everyone’s dream, whether it be being a mother or a business owner.

I would benefit from knowing that my hard work and dedication has paid off, and of course it would be financially beneficial. To know that you could pass on what you have learnt would be something that all new businesses would benefit from- the circle of business.

Building a successful business would result in less financial strain which in turn would make family life much happier. My kids are my “why” in starting this business, and having a successful business means more time to spend with them without having to leave home for a “job” and missing important milestones in their lives.

    Says:

I would benefit from having a successful business in many ways. I would be free to fully express who I am as a person, and a business women. I would benefit from the knowledge that my business was built on sound principles, and that all who were part of my team were encouraged, supported and appreciated. I would benefit in my personal life because my business would enhance my life, rather than overtake it. I would benefit because having a successful business would reaffirm to myself that it was important to maintain tip top health, therefore my commitment to my health and fitness would be paramount. Can I continue?

  8. Pauline_Refund
    Says:

Having a successful business will make it possible for me to have choices. Choices to live the life I want to live.

  9. karengunton
    Says:

My answer is simple. If I can make my home-business successful then I won’t have to go back to work! I get to be a stay at home mom AND I get to have something all my own that allows me to be creative AND I can help support my family financially. It would be the perfect combination!

  10. Kaylene1612
    Says:

For me, having an improved (successful) business would mean I could give my special son, Nicholas, the time and attention he needs and still be able to run a business which brings me and my family personal happiness and financial resources. My business is about resourcing and strengthening community/grass roots organisations. The skills & benefits I gain from having a successful business are/will be passed on to those organisations and communites too.

  11. Melanie
    Says:

Having a sucessful business would mean that all those hours spent toiling away & thousands of dollars invested in the business would finally be justified. Also, assuming that a sucessful business also means it is a profitable business: that would mean my wonderful husband wouldn’t have to continue to carry the burden of being the only consistent income provider in our household!

  12. movens1
    Says:

Having a successful business would benefit myself, my family, my community. 1. I’d have more time & money for my family; and let’s face it, who wouldn’t appreciate that factor alone! 2. my community would benefit from employment, from donations to local charities and from the wealth of information from my seminars - usally free or very low cost.
I would have greater freedom; financial freedom, personal freedom, freedom of choice in all business aspects, freedom to travel (both personally and in business).
It would also mean I could set up a Montessori school in Berry for my 3yo son. This is one of my ultimate personal goals.
I am committed to having a successful business and hopefully through tools such as books (The One Command, The One Minute Millionaire etc), meditation cd’s (holosync etc) and websites such as BWU and their memebers, I can and will achieve all my goals.

    Says:

Success in my business you see,
Is as plain as plain can be,
I need to earn enough money
To take away all our worries
And live a life that’s debt free!

Success in my business will be grand,
    Business support and guiding hands,
    A fantastic opportunity to shine,
Within a wonderful group of like minds
Success in my business will be grand!

My kids are my future, my life! Having a successfull business, also means success for them in their lifes too, now and in the future. If I am successfull im happy and when you are happy people around you are happy. All the positive energy lightens up everything around us. Lifestyle whatever else, thats just added bonusses. But to see my family happy because of me, just adds to success in my business.

  15. Thelma_Nel
    Says:

Having a successful business that is built on a strong foundation and is driven by passion, would not only allow me to live my dream but give me the finacial freedom to enjoy it, while continuing to search for new inspiration to ensure a solid growth in clientele.

    Regards
    Thelma

  16. creativebalance
    Says:

Having a successful business means that I am completely aligned with my values and true potential. The benefit of this is that I am fulfilling my passion to help others help themselves and with each client, witnessing amazing transformations and not being inhibited by fear or self sabotage.

My business is an extension of myself and though financial gain is important it isn’t the driving factor, so success to me, isn’t only about how much I make a year, it is about who I am in my business; who I am to my clients and who I can be when tomorrow arrives.

The benefit of a successful business is a way to acknowledge that if I can do it, anyone can do it. All you need is passion, focus and the belief in yourself.

  17. Magdalena
    Says:

    1. Work on the business not in the business.

    2. Work 5 days a week not 7 days a week.

    3. The business could have a proven formula to succeed.

    4. Being with like minded people/women.

    5. Have fun and sweat along the way to enjoy the journey.

    6. Knowing the “know how” and able to implement.

    7. Have better choices to live.

    8. Let go of the fear of being successful.

    9. Be an example to my daughter yes it can be done.

  18. totallytransformed
    Says:

The benefits of having a wildly successful business is that it will enable my business partner and I to pursue our driving passion of helping to set people free. Firstly through providing significant financial support to the She Rescue Homes which legally gets children as young as 5 out of prostitution in Cambodia and puts them into a loving home. These children are often sold into prosititution by their parents for as little as $150 for life!!! and can be expected to “see” as many as 7 men per night if not more. Having two girls myself aged 8 and 13 and my business partner also has a beautiful little girl aged 4, neither of us can ignore what is happening we MUST be part of the solution and providing financial assistance on a grand scale will allow more homes to be built to rehome these precious children. And that is just one of the reasons we MUST grow a wildly successful business to “speak up for the people who have no voice”

  19. heartdancer
    Says:

I am currently building two businesses in between trying to manage caring for my mentally unwell daughter and her child. Building these businesses to success will create financial freedom for myself and them as well. I will also then benefit by being able to relocate to Sydney.
However financial freedom is only a short term goal for my success .My larger vision is to bring empowerment to women on a global scale through understanding the power and the process of ‘Right Thinking’. Through this process we can change the world we live in by understanding that our thoughts create the reality that we we live in. Change your thoughts and you change your world. When my businesses are successful not only will I benefit , financially, creatively, emotionally and mentally but so will many women the world over benefit by being given the tools to really make a difference in their own lives.
Part of this grand plan is to also establish a foundation for disempowered women to gain access to this information for very minimal cost.

  20. Mumswap
    Says:

We have a very clearcut, dedication vision; Mumswap is in the business of making life easier for mums. The more successful Mumswap becomes, the more mums and community groups we can provide a free service to give everyone the opportunity to ‘have it all’ without doing it all or paying for it all themselves. We are here to support the community, lead by example and represent other businesses that share philanthropic values.
I will benefit by having a successful business as I would have made a positive difference to the community and proven to be a role model for other businesses that aspire to give back to their customers. The more business support, tools and knowledge we can receive in our journey, the greater the difference we can make for others.

  21. shisymbol
    Says:

A successful business would provide many happy outcomes - firstly being able to spend greater quality time with my beautiful children and ageing parents without feeling guilty, secondly greater financial security, thirdly with SHI Symbol for Singles being successful and therefore a known ‘brand’ it would be a tangible and readily recognisable way to really help break down communication barriers for all Single people worldwide to simply say hello and start the process of easily meeting one another, fourthly success would help us be able to give back through our profits to those less fortunate than ourselves through a philanthropic arrangement with a NGO. I used to work for Red Cross so have a soft spot for them, and they are a worldwide organisation like SHI Symbol is/can be. Finally because SHI Symbol can reach out to all Singles everywhere and at any time, it means that marginalised sections of our community have equal opportunity of being able to meet someone by simply knowing about and wearing or using their SHI Symbol eg for Gays, Lesbians. Because we are expanding our range from jewellery to the fashion and apparel areas so it can reach the ‘masses’ more easily we believe all these goals are now achievable.

Having a successful business, to me, would mean having the ability to help other Women Entrepreneurs realize the dream of business ownership. It would also allow me to be able to give back to the community either financially or by volunteering.

It is important to me to help others achieve the goals they have set for themselves by sharing information that is vital to either running a business or balancing their lives. If I am able to help any one, that really makes my day.

    Says:

What can I say about having a successful business, that these women have not already written. All of it is true. Above all for me, is being able to be there to raise my children. I don’t want to have to ask my “boss” if I can leave to take care of my kids. I don’t want my kids to have to come home to an empty house after school, like I did. I am willing to make any sacrifice necessary to make this happen.

hmm I have a business plan, half finished; I have some clients, not many; I know I have the potential - perhaps membership would give me the boost I need to grow my business and ensure the success I want.

Even with the best intentions & plans I have found that my dreams of overseas travel and the freedom to visit my kids in Melbourne havent yet been reached. I will though.

The VIP Club membership may be the shot in the arm I need!

    Says:

Gosh that’s a tough one, how wouldn’t I benefit really!
Having a successful business would mean the world to me as I could work it totally around my family life. Never having to miss another school event for a start - my daughter’s face says it all when I can be there and especially when I can’t be there.
Being able to be my own boss and employ other people would take the workload down to a much more manageable load.
Any help is good help and I would love to be able to learn more through BWU to improve my chances of success in business.
    Thanks.

    Hi Alison,
Congratulations on your excellent articles. Strategies for Women was me to a T.
I have reached a certain success level but am ready to go to the next level. Everyday, many emails from the American gurus arrive and I’d love to have a go at some of their methods but am not game to take the first step.
To hear these very same ideas come from one of our own who has done it is inspiring.
My new mantra is “What have I done today to earn some income”. It is so easy to be busy every day and night and not really achieve much. I actually started some direct marketing this week thanks to those articles.
I’d love to win 6 months membership to the new VIP section to learn how to step out the process and increase sales.
Thanks for the opportunity and keep up the good work.

I would benefit from having a successful business in many ways. This would not only benefit me financially but many others. Having a successful business is not always about the money. There are a lot of other factors that come into play. One being self esteem and respect.
Being successful would empower me to guide others in achieving their goals and dreams and finally to gain the respect of family, friends and my partner as well as the respect of those seeking leadership in a business opportunity. Most importantly for me would be the personal empowerment of finally achieving after years of struggling and making so many emotional choices that just did not fit. Without proper direction and guidance it is like the blind leading the blind.

I have been in business quite a long time - and have enjoyed the fruits of my labor - but with all businesses - they must be nurtured and to grow there is continual learning.

What does having a successful business mean??

Having financial independence, being able to enjoy some of life’s great pleasures. Travel - fine dining - beautiful home.

Being able to contribute to your favorite charities - feeling you can make a difference.

Buying great gift for family and friends without pinching pennies…

having a sense of accomplishment and pride.

Having a successful business would be beneficial because:-

    1. I could hire an administration person to do the work I get caught up in.

    2. Provide me with more income to contribute to our financial goals.

    Says:

How would I benefit from having a successful business?

Success brings with it confidence, self respect and a sense of self worth. That is a definite benefit. For my particular business it would also give me the opportunity to help others reach their definition of success.

    Says:

    Hi Alison,

Do you what, for me the most successful thing is the personal satisfaction I get from having my own business is when my customers are so appreciative of my service and my product. knowing it will leave them more comfortable & feeling more confident about themselves.

Then of course the more money we make the more I can expand the range and the business and eventually I would love to actually be able to pay myself!
Having the flexibility to work around my very young family is the most crucial element for me as well.

    Kindest Regards

I am looking forward to the VIP area as I have reached a stage where I realise that my business will not be successful or move forward in a positive direction until I have some experienced people helping direct me in what I need to do next. Having a successful business would be the most empowering feeling and just being able to look at people and say yeah my little home based hobby well it now provides an income to live on! It would also reaffirm that I wasn’t crazy giving up a regular fortnight salary just to be independant of being told what to do by someone else.
