Hi

Productivity is such an ongoing challenge - balancing our own business needs against the needs of clients, suppliers and the never-ending daily candy provided by forums and social networking can leave us in a situation of helping everyone except ourselves.

I got to thinking about what it is I do that makes me most productive - here's my top 3 tips:

I work on one thing at a time and I finish it before I go onto the next.

I respond to clients same day (this builds my reputation and referrals)

I systemise my marketing so that my VA can make me look fabulous much more often!  eg I write a month's worth of blog posts at a time and then my VA takes the actions required... this one has really paid off this week - got a call about submitting an article for an ezine with 70,000 SME's on their list in Australia - all because I post on my blog regularly - how does it get any better than that??

What do you do that really makes a difference to the bottom line in your business?  I'd love to hear more ideas!!

cheers

Lisa

Hi LIsa

I have just subscribed to your website, it looks fantastic. I am struggling to maintain focus at the moment as there are so many things I want to so in my business, but have limited time. I am trying to get the work/life balance right!

I am also relocating to Brisbane in January, so I am busily trying to decide exactly how to re-launch my business over there.

Anyway, I amhoping to gain some more direction from using the tools you provide, but will consider contacting you once I get to Brisbane for some coaching.

Hi Lisa

Great tips as usual (but I'm used to that)

I have to say I'm a juggler. I always have a dozen balls in the air at any one time. Although I do keep a very close eye on the 20 per cent of balls that give me 80 per cent of my productive outcomes - Don't want those ending up on the floor! Lately I've been dropping that other 20 per cent that causes me 80 per cent of my grief.

This strategy seems to work for me
