mumentum is a partnership between Carolynne Hassall and Rennay Little, creators of the Australian bestselling organiser for parents of a newborn - "New Mothers' Journal: A Practical Organiser"
On 12 September 2008 mumentum was named Queensland winner of the 2008 Telstra Business Awards, Palm Micro-Business Award category for business with five or fewer employees.
The business provides practical parenting tools via an online retail store, product development and wholesale distribution. The range of parenting accessories have evolved from an original range of innovative and practical planners for new parents. "New Mother’s Journal: A Practical Organiser" was the first planner written by the pair of first time mothers, which was then followed by two related titles and three editions for the USA.
mumentum-developed titles include:

• Health & Well-Being Journal: A Practical Organiser (released July 2008)
• Expectant Mother’s Journal: A Practical Organiser (due for release late 2008)
The philosophy behind the mumentum range is to help parents feel organised and confident.
Founded in 2004, mumentum products are currently distributed nationally and internationally, and the business is also establishing other export arrangements.
mumentum evolved when Carolynne and Rennay had a newborn each to care for and felt that they required an organiser to provide clarity and address motherhood’s new demands. Following 20 months product development and market research, the pair secured a publishing contract with Melbourne firm Ice Water Press. There are presently three practical planners in the mumentum/Ice Water Press range.
