My aim with Milk 2 Sugars Design and Transfer is to preserve memories for a future generation. That means upgrading analogue tapes and editing photos, slides and moving footage into digital works of art. I will transfer your VHS, VHS-C, Hi8, Digital 8, Video 8 and Mini-DV tapes onto DVD and package them in a wonderful custom designed DVD case. Complete with bling (should your daughter's 21st birthday party require it!).

People assume that tape has a long life span. It doesn’t. VHS and camcorder tapes usually last about 15 years. It is a fragile medium. The metallic coating on the tape wears away over time. This means that you don’t even need to be playing it for it to erode. Wedding videos stored away in a box will be virtually unplayable when pulled out years later for the grandchildren to see.

Footage of relatives, ultrasounds, children’s first steps and birthdays; these are events that you don’t want to lose. If you went to the trouble to record them in the first place then you also need to consider their preservation.

Technology moves incredibly fast and most people have a wealth of stored memories around the house. They often don't have the time to sort through it though and it remains packed away. I started this business in order to take away some of this strain. Let me sort and catalogue your memories and burn them onto a format that will last.

I am also very adept at corporate video's, whether it be a video for your website or an edited segment for your next presentation.

I have spent 22 years in the television industry in a variety of capacities but where I felt most at home was behind the editing desk. To give your memories new life, call me now:)

Hi Liz,

Love your service, years ago I video taped as I played my old super 8 as they were deteriorating and the only catalogue of my youth, and now I worry about my vhs.  I have about 40 hours of my boys growing (we've had DVD since my daugthers been born).  As soon as I'm organised to see to personal stuff I'll have to get those VHS's off to you.  That may take me 3 years, Lol.

Tracey

No, if you prompt me, I should just start getting 1 at a time to you.
